EVENT DETAILS
WHAT: ArtRhythmia: Art in the medical field
WHEN: 3 August 2018, Friday 6:00pm
WHERE: SM City Iloilo exhibit area
(Upper Gorund Floor, in front of BDO)

EXHIBIT STATEMENT
Artrhythmia is a gathering of the healthcare professionals belonging to the Himbon group of contemporary artists. These doctor/nurses-cum-artists have managed to integrate their seemingly polarized passions and skill sets. Although varied in style, subject matter and choice of medium, they all credit their experience in the medical field as having shaped their perspective of the human condition. As artists, they recognize art’s capacity to lift the spirit beyond one’s circumstances.
Being constant witnesses to the ails and cures of the human body, and spirit, it became their shared goal to elevate healing into an art form and art into form of healing.
